How much do these words mean for you?
Are you really crazy about new collections of famous designers?
D&G, Armani, Prada...Tell me your opinion about this brand. Is it just a chance to stand out against the crowd or a way to enjoy spending your parents’ money or probably something like harmless but quite an expensive hobby?
Of course everyone, especially girls, wants to look pretty and attractive, but clothes are just some kind of material that covers our body and we shouldn’t be so obsessed with it. I can agree that celebrities, businessmen and businesswomen, politicians, actors have to wear suits of excellent quality and leading brands, just because it’s impolite to look scruffy and untidy for example on negotiations. But we are only teenagers, and we spend lots of time outdoors, sitting on wet benches, trying to get warm in muddy and dusty entrances, wandering in the woods, making fires, playing snowballs, doing sports, etc…So all we need is something comfortable, easy to wash and iron and of course reliable, practical and rather cheap, otherwise it’s just the most stupid way of wasting money, your well off and generous parents supplied you with, on popular brands and a real fade for fashion, glamour and gloss.
Remember that you'll never come back to this irresponsible and absent-minded age. You can do whatever you want today: wear T-shirts with funny and stupid prints or bold and frank tags, colorful and bright pants, skirts, socks, walk in sneakers, have your hair dyed in green, yellow or red, have some parts of the body pierced or tattooed, put some extremely useless items in your handbags or backpacks and even forget keys, passports, cell phones, subway tickets and money at home…But imagine that you’re an adult, who has a family, takes care of his or her spouse, looks after children, earns money... and in the morning spends lots of time to choose either to put on a sweater with Sponge Bob or Winnie the Pooh.. Don’t you find it’s absolutely strange and ridiculous? I think you’ll all agree with this statement. You’ll never have an opportunity to wear that type of clothes again, although you can really help your relatives save considerable sums of their salaries now if you stop begging for branded clothes.
But do not think that I’m advising you to buy fakes in the markets. I’m just trying to appeal to you to be more careful with money and try to save as much as possible and buy ordinary clothes. There is a big choice of everything in the 21st century. Visit some shops like Bershka, New Yorker, Concept club, Jennyfer, Stradivarius, Zara, Tvoe, etc., and I’m totally sure that you will certainly find something that'll fit you perfectly and make your appearance lovely and sophisticated.
In the end I’d like to say: “just lay back, take your time and enjoy your own age… Everything should occur in its time. And you’ll have to be really elegant and chic one day… I promise… but not now… be patient and wait a ill bit.”
And always remember that we can’t judge a person only by his looks..until we know the truth about his soul and mind.
